Native Bareroot Wildflower Refund Policy
If the tracking information from our shipping company does not show it was delivered to your address, your bareriits can be replaced if the shipment was lost in the mail. In this case, if it isn’t able to be replaced due to lack of bareroot supplies, it will be refunded.
Due to the inability for us to supervise the planting process, we don't offer refunds otherwise on bareroot purchases. Follow the provided instructions to ensure successful establishing of your native wildflower bareroots: Planting Directions
This product is a dormant bareroot that should be planted 2 inches under ground in the fall or winter time. Cover the spots where you plant them; after you plant - with 3 inches of compost. This will insulate them over the winter preventing them from heaving up. Don’t compact the soil over the bareroot too heavily or the plant will struggle to push through in the spring. You can store these dormant bareroot wildflowers for up to 10 days in the refrigerator until you’re ready to plant them.
If you’re unable to plant them within 10 days of receiving them, you can store them in potting soil within pots that are heeled into the ground so that the potting soil is level with the ground level to insulate them from cold air temperatures until you’re ready to plant them.
Native Seed Mix Refund Policy
If the tracking information from our shipping company (Fed-Ex or UPS) does not show it was delivered to your address, your seed mix can be replaced if Fed-Ex or UPS has lost the package. In this case, if it isn’t able to be replaced due to lack of seed supplies, it will be refunded.
We guarantee that the species listed in the seed mix are all present and true to the name of the listed species.
In any other cases we do not offer replacement or refund. This is standard for all native seed selling companies as there are too many factors outside of our company’s control that could lead you to requesting a free replacement of the seed or full refund. The biggest factor is user error in preparing the site, installing the seed mix, and maintaining it the first year. So we’ve taken the time to create an instructional manual that addresses these challenges and if you follow the directions you will maximize your chances of success.
